Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
1. The service
TyreSync provides tyre management software for tyre dealers, fleets, retreaders and corporate groups: condition surveys, stock, incidents, proposals, reporting and related tooling.
We provide software only. We do not inspect, repair, sell or fit tyres, and we are not responsible for decisions made from data entered into or generated by the service. Field measurements and photographs are captured by your staff; treat safety-critical findings accordingly.
2. Accounts and organisations
Access is through an organisation (a shop). The person who creates the shop is its owner and controls its members, roles and settings.
You are responsible for the accuracy of data your members enter and for keeping access credentials safe. A shop may affiliate to a corporate parent; the parent gains read-only rollup visibility of that shop's activity for as long as the affiliation stands, and the shop may remove it at any time.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service for legitimate tyre management only. Do not probe or attempt to access another organisation's data, interfere with the service, or use factory API keys beyond their documented scope.
You may not enter personal information beyond what the workflows require. The service is designed around vehicles, tyres and business contacts, not sensitive personal data.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of all data your organisation enters. You grant us the rights needed to store, process and display that data to provide the service and, where you affiliate, to aggregate it for your corporate parent.
Data you delete is removed from active use; copies may persist in backups for a limited retention window.
5. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Field capture queues offline and syncs when connectivity returns.
We may update the service over time; where a change materially removes functionality you pay for, we will give reasonable notice.
6. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or decisions made on incomplete field data.
Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim or, while the service is in free use, a nominal amount.
7. Termination
A shop owner may close the workspace at any time; we may suspend or close workspaces that breach these terms or where required by law.
On closure we provide a reasonable export of your data; after a grace period the workspace data is deleted.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes go to the courts of South Africa.
Changes to these terms are announced in the service before they apply. Continued use after that point constitutes acceptance.
